We provide brief, time-limited individual and group psychotherapy; psychoeducational outreach; consultation and referrals for students, faculty, staff, and students' families; and crisis management to the campus community.

The internship program emphasizes training in brief, time-limited therapy and multicultural competency within an integrationist framework. We provide intensive supervision, multifaceted didactic training, professional mentorship, and a broad range of outreach and consultation opportunities. Through achievement of profession-wide competencies, the Psychology Intern will enhance their skills in brief, time-limited individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, intake assessment, consultation, program evaluation, and outreach.  We believe our strong commitment to multiculturally informed training and evidence-based practice will provide an exceptional opportunity for your development as a generalist in Health Service Psychology. Our senior staff and consultants represent a diversity of theoretical and cultural backgrounds. Please see our CAPS Diversity Statement. CAPS is accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS) and the Doctoral Internship is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and accredited by the American Psychological Association.*
