Communicable Disease Protocol

The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Life has developed a protocol to respond to the threat of a communicable diseases of concern outbreak on campus.

Within this protocol there are guidelines for mitigating and managing an outbreak of a communicable disease (potential and confirmed cases) transmitted airborne or by droplets on USF campus, safeguarding the welfare of individuals across the campus community, and educating and advising the University community during the event.

A Flu Pandemic is not addressed within this protocol but addressed through the updated and approved USF Pandemic Flu Prevention and Response Plan under the auspices of Public Safety.
