Meet the 2023-24 Senator Representatives

There are up to twelve senator representatives to complete the Graduate Student Senate. They represent the voice of the Associated Graduate Students of the University of San Francisco (AGSUSF). Senator representatives are responsible primarily to their respective AGSUSF constituent community.

Bhavesh hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and works in financial markets. He also has experience working with non-profit organizations and in marketing. Bhavesh is an avid practitioner of yoga meditation, and is passionate about helping others to actualize their ambitions.

Ana is a public servant in and currently serving a small/medium county as the Chief Deputy Clerk-Recorder-Elections. Her previous experience includes communications in a small school district and leading educational community programs. Ana has a B.A. from Sacramento State, M.S. from Colorado State and is in her 2nd year of the Organization & Leadership Doctoral Program at USF. In joining GSS, she is passionate about communicating resources and opportunities to all students.

Kiah has over 10 years of education experience primarily in teaching roles, as well as a BA in Biology from Lawrence University. After the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, she decided to pursue a graduate degree in leadership after experiencing first-hand the many flaws that this global crisis exposed in our policies, administration, and lack of resources and support for essential workers in the education system. She believes that educational access should be a right for all people, and that this experience should be of high quality, empowering, and enriching, regardless of one’s identity or background. She is passionate about environmental protection, educational access equity, radical love, and improving support systems for underserved communities.
