Immunizations help maintain the long-term health of our campus and the greater University of San Francisco community. Any immunity established from childhood vaccinations can wear off over time, putting yourself and others at risk of infection. As a condition of enrollment, USF requires and recommends immunizations for specific student populations.

Students who fail to submit a proof of immunization by August 15 (Fall) and January 15 (Spring) will be charged a $100 late fee.

The deadline to submit proof of required immunizations depends on your term of admission:

  • Fall Semester: August 15 at 5pm
  • Spring Semester: January 15 at 5pm
  • Exception: Students planning to reside in USF-operated housing must submit all required immunization records prior to moving in.
  • Failure to submit proof of immunizations by the appropriate deadline will result in a $100 fine and may result in a registration hold on your student account.

Submit Proof

Students are required to submit immunization records online at the following. If you have problems accessing the link, please contact our department.

USF Immunization policy follows California guidelines and American College Health Association (ACHA) recommendations. Thus, an exception to the USF immunization requirement can be granted when conflicts with a medical condition. Students must provide documentation from a licensed medical professional.
