A World of Hope for Street Children in Lima, Peru

On this immersion, students will be working with a group called Generacion, which provides shelter and support for the street children of Lima, Peru.

These children are often victims of neglect, poverty, sexual abuse and sex trafficking, HIV/AIDS, and other injustices. We will spend our days in the shelters working with the children and engaging in activities, and most importantly, learning from them with open hearts and minds.

The group was also honored to attend the Congresso of the Republica, we had the chance to learn about justice reforms and much more. ✨

" " — Today we spent the day in Chincha learning about the Afro-Peruvian culture. We got to tour the town, learned about Afro-Peruvian music, visited the San José Hacienda, learned how to play el cajón, and finally danced el zapateado. 💃🏻💥
