Classroom AV and Software

All classrooms and conference rooms at USF are equipped with AV presentation technologies, and our environment is refreshed on a regular ongoing basis.

While all classrooms will have a large projection screen (or LCD) and amplified audio, there are some differences between the different levels of technology as detailed below:

Includes an LCD projector, a Mac Laptop configured to allow booting from Mac OS or Windows, a DVD/VHS player, and VGA cables to support presenters using their own laptops.

Includes a high-definition LCD projector, a Mac Mini configured to allow booting from Mac OS or Windows, Blu-ray/DVD player, VGA & HDMI cables to support presenters using their own laptops, and wireless AV for macOS and iOS devices.

Includes all the standard presentation technology and adds lecture capture capabilities which include a video camera, microphones and an Echo360 lecture capture appliance.

Includes all the standard presentation technology and adds Mac or PC desktop computers at each student location. For more information about USF's computer labs including operational hours and how to request a software installation, visit the ITS Computer Labs webpage on myUSF.
