Demystifying Cryptocurrency and Blockchain for Lawyers: How Cryptocurrencies and Blockchains Are Impacting the Legal Landscape

Please join the University of San Francisco Law Review for a symposium examining cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology’s impact on the law.

Panel topics will include the developing regulatory landscape, current cases and recent policies, and the effect of blockchain technology advancements on legal practice. Commissioner Jan Lynn Owen of the California Department of Business Oversight will provide the keynote address. Our distinguished group of panelists include Grant Fondo, partner at Goodwin; Brian Klein, partner at Baker Marquart; Gregory LaBlanc, lecturer from the University of California, Berkeley; Stephen Lau, assistant general counsel at the California Department of Business Oversight; Scott Walker, Securities and Exchange Commission; and many others.
