Tina D’Elia will perform excerpts of her show Overlooked Latinas and Natacha Ruck will perform Surprise Movie Night. Together they’ll discuss ways to weave memoir, history and fiction into solo performance, and how to make relevant characters come to life on stage. The performance will be followed by a Q&A and an audience activity.
Tina D’Elia (She/Her)
Mixed-race Mexican artist, queer, actor, performance coach, casting director and award-winning solo performer. D’Elia has written 5 solo shows and is most known for The Rita Hayworth of this Generation and Overlooked Latinas. Her newest solo show will be at The Brava Theater December 2025, Called “The Break-Up! A Queer Latina Torch Song”.
Natacha Ruck (She/Her)
Documentary and fiction audio and video producer, Natacha’s solo show “Your good for nothing... I’ll milk the cow myself” was developed at the Marsh Theater and is headed to Fresno and Montreal. She’s developing a new show based on her experiences as an interpreter at film festivals. She teaches Multimedia Storytelling at USF.
