Political Poster Making Event banner featuring Favianna Rodriguez

Join us for a dynamic political poster making opportunity with Favianna Rodriguez, Bay Area based interdisciplinary artist, cultural organizer, and social justice activist. Favianna will guide us through the creative process to ensure that everyone feels their voice is expressed through their art. Express your voice and creativity while honoring the right to free speech on Constitution Day and National Voter Registration Day.

In partnership with the USF Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice, the Haight Street Art Center will curate and present an exhibit of inspiring political poster art to accompany the event, including work by Favianna Rodriguez. Come early to enjoy the inspiring exhibit and meet the directors and curators of the center.

Sponsored by the Cultural Centers and the Leo T. McCarthy Center’s USF Votes Initiative. Co-sponsored by Critical Diversity Studies, the Sociology Department, the Masters in Migration Studies Program, the Office of Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Politics Department, the USF Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice, the Haight Street Art Center, Latinas Unidas, and L.U.N.A.
