Faculty and Staff Dining Room

The faculty and staff dining room, located in the University Center on lower campus, is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. throughout the academic year (August through May). For more information, please visit the Faculty and Staff Dining Room web page.

USF Parents Group

The USF Parents Group is open to any faculty or staff member who has children or is expecting a child. The group exists to: help parents connect with one another, act as a sounding board for general parenting/child questions, provide resources for other parents on campus, and advocate for additional institutional support and resources when necessary. Adoption Reimbursement

The University provides up to a maximum of $4,000 reimbursement for adoption fees, per family, per adopted child. Contact the benefits team at benefits@usfca.edu or at (415) 422-2442 for more information.

Lactation Room Accommodation

In accordance with USF’s Lactation Accommodation Policy, breastfeeding employees will be provided breaks and a space to express milk during working hours.

Breastfeeding employees who wish to express milk during working hours must submit a completed and signed Lactation Accommodation Request Form to the Human Resources Leave Manager at leaves@usfca.edu at least five (5) business days in advance before the start of the request. The form must include signatures of both the employee making the request and the employee’s supervisor. Any additional breaks needed to express milk beyond the employee’s regular breaks/lunch breaks must be indicated on the form.

Will Preparation

USF's CONCERN Employee Assistance Program provides referrals for legal issues including will preparation. A free 30-minute consultation is available with an attorney. A 25% discount is available if you decide to retain the services of the attorney. Visit the Employee Assistance Program web page for more information.

Credit Union

Employees of USF may become a member of The Golden One Credit Union or Provident Central Credit Union which offer competitive loan and savings rates. A payroll deduction is available for credit union services. For more information, contact the benefits team at benefits@usfca.edu.

Relocation Assistance Vendor

New or existing USF employees who are relocating to or within the Bay Area are encouraged to contact Relocation Breakthroughs, a local relocation service vendor. For more information regarding services provided and associated costs to the employee (unless otherwise negotiated), please refer to the Relocation Assistance Vendor informational sheet, and visit the Relocation Breakthroughs website.
