December 2022 Commencement Community Events

The December 2022 Commencement will be held in-person on December 16.

Commencement mass and commencement ceremonies will be streamed on USF's Commencement website, on YouTube, and on Facebook. For any other community events related to Fall 2022 Commencement (including zoom events or video recordings), we highly encourage you to promote them on the USFCA and MyUSF calendars. Any commencement community event that is listed in the USF calendar will also be displayed on the events feed on our main Commencement website.

To add your event to the calendar, first book the event through our Events Management System (EMS). Once the event is booked, it will import into our web content management system (Drupal) where you can add photos, detailed description of the event, photos, and RSVP links.

Once you book your event on EMS, please send an email to Web Services, so we can confirm its import into the Drupal system and ensure its inclusion on the Commencement website events feed.

Videos for Events

If you are creating a video recording for your event and would like it hosted on the web, we recommend working with your department to post the video clips on your department’s Youtube, Facebook or other social media accounts. If your department does not have a YouTube or social media presence, you can email social@usfca.edu to request your video's inclusion in USF’s Youtube Commencement playlist. All videos must be received by Monday, May 16.

There will not be an official commencement hub on myUSF to host videos, but if you plan to embed or link to any YouTube video on your department's MyUSF website, we ask that you include closed captioning and a transcript. If you only plan to add your video to a YouTube playlist, you can use the YouTube auto-captioning feature, and do not need to include a transcript. View more information on our Video Transcripts and Captions page.
