Step 5: Apply for Housing

The fall 2020 housing application will be available at USFRooms. A meal plan is required for all students who live in a residence hall, unless you are assigned to Pedro Arrupe or Loyola Village. You’ll be guided through the steps of selecting a meal plan in the housing application process. You can move into on-campus housing beginning August 15.

First-Year Students

You are guaranteed housing for your first two semesters as long as you submit a non-refundable enrollment deposit (see Step 2) by May 1 and a completed housing application by May 8.

Students who miss the deadlines will be placed on a waitlist and assigned a space as it becomes available.

Important: In some cases, you may not be eligible for guaranteed housing. Please review the Student Housing and Residential Education (SHaRE) page for more information.

Transfer Students

Priority housing spaces for transfer students are extremely limited, and we are unable to guarantee housing for incoming transfer students. To be eligible for priority housing, you must submit a non-refundable enrollment deposit by June 1 (or within two weeks of your admission) (See Step 2) and a completed housing application by June 8.

We strongly recommend all incoming transfer students connect with Off Campus Living, for help with the off-campus housing search and much more!

Deadline: May 8 (first-year students), or June 8 (transfer students will be considered for housing based on availability)
