Step 5: Apply for Housing

The fall 2019 housing application is available at USFRooms. A meal plan is required for all students who live in a residence hall, unless you are assigned to Pedro Arrupe or Loyola Village. You’ll be guided through the steps of selecting a meal plan in the housing application process. You can move into on-campus housing beginning August 17.

First-Year Students

You are guaranteed housing for your first two semesters as long as you submit a non-refundable enrollment deposit (see Step 2) by May 1 and a completed housing application by May 10.

Students who miss the deadlines will be placed on a waitlist and assigned a space as it becomes available.

Important: In some cases, you may not be guaranteed housing, but can still apply. Please review the Student Housing and Residential Education (SHaRE) page for more information.

Transfer Students

Priority housing spaces for transfer students are extremely limited, and we are unable to guarantee housing for incoming transfer students. To be eligible for priority housing, you must submit a non-refundable enrollment deposit by June 1 (See Step 2) and a completed housing application by June 10.

We strongly recommend all incoming transfer students connect with Off Campus Student Services, which offers Transfer Summer Programs to students who start in the fall semester. Through these programs, students receive help from OCSS with their off-campus housing search and much more!

Deadline: May 10 (first-year students), or June 10 (transfer students will be considered for housing based on availability)
