Step 6: Complete Webtrack Advising
Webtrack Advising is our online class registration process for first-time students. Webtrack will provide you with valuable information on USF's academic policies and procedures, graduation requirements, placement tests, and major requirements. It will also guide you through the online class registration process and explain which classes to register for. Faculty will review your course selections and meet with you during orientation week.
- Watch the advising tutorials
Tutorials will be available starting May 29. Go to myusf.usfca.edu/webtrack and select your school/college (yours will be listed in your admission letter) from the side menu to watch the advising video tutorials.
- Complete the quiz
After watching the Webtrack advising tutorial, you must pass a quiz to be cleared for class registration. Click on “Webtrack Quiz” from the Webtrack menu.
- Sign up for a phone advising appointment (or e-mail if you are not available by phone).
After completing the Webtrack quiz, you will be guided to set up a phone advising appointment on June 11, 13, or 18. Faculty will discuss your class selections during your scheduled phone appointment or via e-mail.
- Get ready to register for classes
Registration for classes begins at 9 a.m. PDT on June 3. It’s important for you to register for classes before your scheduled phone appointment with a faculty member. If necessary, they will recommend course adjustments during the appointment. Classes begin August 20.
Deadline: Webtrack opens on Wednesday, May 29. You should complete the tutorial and quiz before class registration opens on Monday, June 3.
