Step 7: Register For Classes
Registration opens June 3. You can register for classes after watching all advising tutorials and completing the Webtrack quiz (See Step 6).
Decide which classes to take
Browse the Schedule of Classes to search for the classes you want to take. You should know which classes to register for from watching the advising tutorials under Webtrack Advising.
Note: It’s important for you to register for classes before your scheduled phone appointment with a faculty member. If necessary, they will recommend course adjustments during the appointment.
Register for classes
Once you know which classes you want to take, log into myUSF to register for classes. For detailed instructions on how to register, refer back to the Webtrack tutorial. Remember to register for at least 16 credit hours to stay on track for graduation.
Fall 2019 classes begin on Tuesday, August 20. The last day to add a class for fall 2019 is August 26.
If you have classes currently in progress, USF won’t be able to enter those credits until you’ve submitted your final grades. After you finish your classes and receive final grades, please have your school send us an official transcript with updated grades.
Your USF degree evaluation will show how credits from your previous institution may have transferred to USF. To view your degree evaluation, log into myUSF dashboard, click on the Banner Self Service (Student) box, then Student Records → Degree Evaluation.
Please note that the Office of Admission can only award credit for USF’s Loading..., not for your specific major. If you are entering the College of Arts & Sciences, we can help estimate how your major-specific classes might transfer to USF before you arrive on campus. Please click here for more information on the time to degree estimate process. For all other majors outside of the College of Arts & Sciences, you’ll need to work directly with faculty members from your major after you arrive to USF.
If you think you’re missing credit on your degree evaluation:
Please submit a Transfer Credit Request. Please note that you may be asked to provide additional documentation.
Deadline: June 3 - August 26
