Next Steps: First-Year and Transfer Students (Fall)
Welcome to the USF community! We have listed your Next Steps here so that you have a smooth transition to USF. These requirements are for all new students, so please do your best to complete them by the deadlines. For specific questions, there is contact information at the bottom of each page.
Transfer Students: Once you've made a myUSF account, make sure to review your degree evaluation to see how your credits have transferred over to USF.

| Step 1 | Confirm Enrollment & Submit Deposit | The date printed on your admission letter |
| Step 2 | Create myUSF account | ASAP |
| Step 3 | Accept Your Financial Aid | May 5 or within 30 days of receiving your offer. (Recommended to accept no later than 30 days before fall payment due date.) |
| Step 4 | Submit Final Documents | ASAP, or when you have final grades from your last class |
| Step 5 | Apply For Housing | May 10 (first-year students) or June 9 (transfer students) |
| Step 6 | Prepare for class registration | April 3 |
| Step 7 | View Degree Evaluation | ASAP |
| Step 8 | Register for Classes | April 21 (Transfer & ED students) or June 21 (First-year students) |
| Step 9 | Pay Your Bill | Aug 1 |
| Step 10 | Register for New Student & Family Orientation | Aug 1 |
| Step 11 | Get Your USF One Card | Aug 12 |
| Step 12 | Provide Proof of Immunization | Aug 1-15 (nursing students) or Aug 15 (non-nursing students) |
| Step 13 | Complete the Mandatory Introductory Courses | Aug 15-22 |
