Step 10: Register for New Student & Family Orientation

New Student & Family Orientation (NSFO) provides an opportunity to get to know the USF campus, learn about resources for incoming students, and connect with faculty, staff, and current students. NSFO includes special programs for first-years, transfers, and families. See below for the dates of your orientation program.

Orientations for Domestic Students

All new first-year and transfer students are required to attend their orientation program.

• First-Year Student Orientation: August 12–21
• Transfer Student Orientation: August 20–21

Family Orientations

Family orientation for first-years will take place the weekend of August 12–13. For transfers, family orientation will be Sunday, August 20. After each family orientation, students will have their own orientation activities leading up to the first day of classes. Family orientation is optional.

Starting mid-June, you'll be able to register for New Student & Family Orientation on the Orientation webpage.

Deadline: Please register for orientation by August 1.
