Student - Print Drivers
To print your files to a MFP device, you will need the Pharos Challenge print driver. This will require authentication with a username and password every time you send a file to print. After successful installation, please restart your computer.
All software installed on personal equipment is to be installed at your own risk. Due to the wide variety of computer settings and configurations, The University cannot guarantee that remote printing will work on all computers.
To print from a USF-owned computer, student employees must use the Challenge version of the Pharos print driver. ITS has installed this driver on computers in public areas such as computer labs and libraries. Most department-owned equipment also has the appropriate driver installed, however if your department has a USF-owned computer used for student employees, please download this driver for your computer. When sending a print job, a student employee will be prompted to type in the copy card number (9-digit number located at the front of the card) each time in order to assign their print job to the copy card.
To request a Student Employee Copy Card and charge work-related jobs using a department FOAP(AL), please have your supervisor complete the Student Employee Copy Card Request Form. This must be signed by a department business manager.
