Here in Student Disability Services we pride ourselves in our service delivery model. Our goal is to effectively and efficiently accommodate our students. When a new student arrives in our office, our first step is to bring them over to our service kiosk. There our staff members can walk them through the initial intake process. They are able to give us their demographic information, information about their disability, and even an opportunity to scan and upload their documentation. Once in the system, they are quickly matched up with one of our specialists. The intake can then be formalized, and appropriate accommodations can be determined.
