Welcome to a new year of learning at USF. Before you hit the books here are three must dos to cross off your list. Number one, health insurance USF requires all students to have health insurance. If you fall into any of these categories you are automatically enrolled and billed for the USF-endorsed student health insurance plan. If you already have better or equal health coverage, you can waive this requirement during the waiver and enrollment period each academic year. Number two, immunizations. Immunizations help maintain the health of our campus and the entire USF community. USF requires you submit your immunization records online to Med+Proctor. ALL USF students need to submit the initial COVID-19 vaccine(s); and then if you fit into any of these categories you are required to submit additional immunizatios * Undergraduate domestic student * two doses of measles mumps and rubella and hepatitis B for all domestic students 18 years of age or younger * domestic graduate students living in USF housing * two doses of measles mumps and rubella vaccinations * international students * hepatitis B, two doses of MMR vaccinations and tuberculosis PPD test taken within the last 12 months * nursing students * should check with their department for their requirements Please submit all requirements to Med+Proctor by the deadline to avoid fines and registration holds. Number three, Catharsis Productions Federal mandates require all universities to offer all students education addressing alcohol drugs and sexual assault. Catharsis Productions provides USF's required online educational courses. You must complete this course by the deadline in order to avoid late fines. To get these three items crossed off your list, log on to the USF health promotion services webpage. If you have any questions please contact USF health promotion services.
