Additionally, on Tuesday, June 26, the Lone Mountain Drive from the circle lot down to the Loyla House driveway entrance will be closed for movement of construction materials related to the Lone Mountain heating and window project.

All other campus parking lots will remain open throughout the summer including: the Koret lot, the Hayes Healy garage, the School of Education lot, and the Kendrick garage. Those with valid USF parking permits are allowed to use these other lots.

There are many options for alternative transportation in the San Francisco Bay Area. USF has partnered with Chariot, a commuter shuttle service, to establish stops around the USF campus. Anyone can sign up and ride Chariot to and from USF, and full time, benefits-eligible faculty and staff are eligible for subsidized rides ($1/ride.) Learn more about the USF-Chariot partnership.

    Masonic Streetscape Project

The Masonic Avenue Streetscape Project was initiated to improve safety for people walking, biking, taking transit and driving on Masonic Avenue between Geary Boulevard and Fell Street. Construction began in June 2016 and is expected to be completed in late 2017. The project includes wider sidewalks, better lighting in the crosswalks, raised bike lanes, and enhanced Muni stops. SFMTA estimates that 167 parking spaces will be eliminated upon completion of the project.
