Get Involved with a GSS Committee

It is the goal of the Graduate Student Senate (GSS) to work collaboratively with all graduate students to achieve a greater graduate student experience for all at USF. By joining a committee, you have the opportunity to influence the planning, decision making, and implementing processes within the GSS.

External Affairs Committee

Chair: Vice President of External Affairs
Has the responsibility for planning and implementing all GSS-sponsored programs, services, and social events.

Finance Committee

Chair: Vice President of Treasury 
Ensures the fiscal responsibility of the GSS while reviewing and maintaining the budget, allocation of funding, and development of policies around grant applications.

Internal Affairs Committee

Chair: Vice President of Internal Affairs
Reviews amendments, bylaws, and other governing documents, committee codes, policies, and procedures that pertain to or are submitted to the GSS.

Mission Committee

Chair: Vice President of Mission
Dedicated to standing up for social justice and remaining an advocate for all student-led initiatives.

Committee Membership

Any AGSUSF member can join a GSS committee. AGSUSF means any full-time graduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Law, School of Management, or School of Nursing and Health Professions.
