The Museum Studies Graduate Association (MSGA) warmly invites you to a special event featuring visiting Nepali Cultural Heritage scholar, Swotsi Rajbhandari Kayastha. MSGA is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment grounded in diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. As the next generation of leaders in the museum sector, we strive to enhance our knowledge and skills to cultivate engaging, meaningful museum experiences for everyone. This presentation offers a distinctive chance to explore global museum practices and perspectives.

Join MSGA in welcoming Swotsi to the University of San Francisco! Swotsi is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2024–25) at the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco. Swotsi holds advanced degrees in Nepalese History, Culture, Archaeology, and Museum Practice. As a curator at the Nepal Art Council, she has extensive experience in organizing art exhibitions nationally and internationally. Recently appointed to the Board of the Patan Museum, she writes extensively on Nepali art and culture, published in ICOM and other publications. Come hear her latest research over light refreshments and enjoy an inspiring conversation about art, museums, and cultural heritage!
