Important Dates and Updates
- We are still accepting spring 2026 housing applications!
- Spring housing is guaranteed for the following students who apply and submit enrollment deposits by the published deadlines:
- Incoming Freshman Students
- Incoming Transfer Students
- Sophomore Students
- Spring housing is guaranteed for the following students who apply and submit enrollment deposits by the published deadlines:
- The 2026-2027 Academic Year housing application will go live for all students on February 1, 2026 on USFRooms. Additional details and deadlines will be announced in January for both new and continuing students.
- The intersession request is live on USFRooms as of early October. Students who live in 9-month residence halls are eligible to apply to move back into their fall rooms early for an additional cost.
- The Spring 2026 room change process will reopen on USFRooms after the Spring Census on February 13th.
- Important Spring Information:
- Intersession Housing: Thursday, January 1, 2026 to Thursday, January 22, 2026
- New International Student Move In: Tuesday, January 20, 2026
- Spring Move In (9-Month Buildings and All New Spring Students): Thursday, January 22, 2026
- Spring Orientation: Begins Friday, January 23, 2026
- Final Day To Add Classes: Friday, January 30, 2026
- Spring Census Date: Friday, February 13, 2026
- Spring Break (Residence Halls Remain Open): Monday, March 16, 2026 to Friday, March 20, 2026
- Spring Move-Out Date for ALL Buildings: Saturday, May 23, 2026
