Important Dates and Updates
- We are still accepting spring 2026 housing applications!
- Spring housing is guaranteed for the following students who apply and submit enrollment deposits by the published deadlines:
- Incoming Freshman Students
- Incoming Transfer Students
- Sophomore Students
- Spring housing is guaranteed for the following students who apply and submit enrollment deposits by the published deadlines:
- The winter break and intersession request is live on USFRooms as of early October. Students who live in 9-month residence halls are eligible to apply to stay in their fall rooms for an additional cost. This form will be monitored up until the University closes on December 23rd. Students applying after this date must call USF Public Safety to be directed to the appropriate on-call staff person.
- The fall 2025 room change process has closed on USFRooms as of November 17th. The spring 2026 room change process will reopen on USFRooms after the Spring Census on February 13th.
- The late stay request is live on USFRooms as of early October. All requests are subject to approval and will be subject to a daily rate. Requests will be monitored through December 13th.
- Important Fall Closing Information:
- Fall Move Out for 9-Month Buildings: Saturday, December 13, 2025
- Late Stay Move-Out: Sunday, December 14, 2025
- Winter Break Housing: Saturday, December 13, 2025 to Thursday, January 1, 2026
- USF Office Closure: Tuesday, December 23, 2025 to Thursday, January 1, 2026
- Intersession Housing: Thursday, January 1, 2026 to Thursday, January 22, 2026
- Spring Move In (9-Month Buildings and All New Spring Students): Thursday, January 22, 2026
