COVID-19 UPDATE: Temporary Closure of University Offices

With the University's move to online learning and remote work through the Fall 2020 term, the Office of Student Employment will not be available in-person and will be processing our duties remotely. Because of the closure of our physical office and the limited access to our general phone line, we are encouraging the community to email us your questions or concerns. Our office will continue to support our student employees in their endeavors with new remote work. Given the unprecedented nature of the situation, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Please check back on our website for any updated information for the Office of Student Employment.

During this time, you can still reach us by phone at (415) 422-6770 or by email at Our voicemails are reviewed daily and we will respond to your messages as soon as possible.

If you have recently been offered a student job with the university and need to present documents for the Form I-9, we ask that you upload images of your supporting documents to your Workday "Complete Form I-9" task, or email us for further instructions to send the images securely. Updated guidance from USCIS mandates that all student employees whose I-9 documents are verified digitally bring their original documents into the office within three days of our reopening.
