We are excited to announce that a full-day Teaching Symposium, sponsored by CTE and ADEI, will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the Fromm Complex. The full schedule will be announced soon, and we are grateful to all those who submitted outstanding proposals. Check out the amazing faculty and staff that will be sharing their insights and resources: (table of confirmed presenters here)

This year’s symposium will engage participants in discussions and workshops on supporting "Building Relationships Between Teachers and Students." We look forward to lively discussions and opportunities to build stronger communities.

Sessions focus on topics such as: Relational Pedagogy & Student Partnership, Teaching for Inclusion, Dialogue, & Equitable Engagement, and Innovative Assessment, Creativity & Learning Design. Again, the full schedule will be shared soon, but here’s a teaser of a few sessions brought to you by the work of our faculty learning communities and M2M:

And if that’s not enough to get you to put this event in your calendar we will also serve coffee in the morning, complimentary lunch in the afternoon, and invite you to stay or return for the closing reception.
