San Francisco is uniting behind cleaner, more affordable, and more reliable public power. Join GoUSF in person or on Zoom to learn more about San Francisco’s "Our City, Our Power" campaign, the efforts to acquire the local electric grid from PG&E and expand public power to serve all San Franciscans. This event is open to the entire USF community.
About the speaker: Elisa Rodriguez Furey brings over 15 years of experience in the public and non-profit sectors as a bilingual and bicultural professional in the areas of project management, public relations, community engagement, outreach, and communications. Elisa currently works as a Public Relations Officer for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Power Enterprise. There, she leads community outreach and engagement for "Our City, Our Power," which is San Francisco’s campaign for public power expansion. Elisa also leads multicultural and multilingual outreach strategies for CleanPowerSF, which is San Francisco’s local, clean energy provider, and Hetch Hetchy Power to better engage BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), Latinx, and Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.
