We are living through a moment defined by rising authoritarianism, deepening racial capitalism, and accelerating climate collapse—forces that threaten the material conditions and collective imagination of our communities. In response to this moment of overlapping crisis and possibility, the inaugural C-HER Conference at the University of San Francisco invites educators, organizers, researchers, and youth leaders to come together under the theme: Educational Futurities: Remembering, Reimagining, and Rebuilding from the Bay.
