Ready to gain professional internship experience while earning academic credit? Apply by October 1 for the Leo T. McCarthy Center’s experiential learning programs:
- McCarthy Fellows in Sacramento (Summer): Fully funded summer internship in California state government and public service organizations. Includes a scholarship for all participants.
- McCarthy Fellows in San Francisco (Fall): Semester-long program combining a City and County of San Francisco internship with an academic seminar. Includes a scholarship for all participants.
- USF in D.C. (Fall): Semester-long internship and academic program in Washington, D.C. Admission is rolling, but October 1 is the priority deadline. Includes a scholarship for all participants.
Open to students of ALL MAJORS these programs combine community-engaged learning, professional experience, mentorship, and academic coursework to help you build practical skills while making a meaningful impact.
