This gathering brings together scholars, advocates, students, and community members to reflect on a decade of the Master in Migration Studies (MIMS) program at USF and how research, advocacy, and lived experience can work together to advance migrant justice and critical migration scholarship.
The conference will feature keynote conversations, panel discussions, and workshops highlighting the intersections of academia, activism, and impacted communities. Sessions will explore emerging questions in critical migration studies while celebrating the collaborations and solidarities that have shaped the MIMS community over the past ten years.
The day will conclude with a reception and alumni reunion, offering an opportunity to reconnect, build new relationships, and continue conversations about the future of migration research and advocacy.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.
