Rest is Resistance: BIPOC Mindfulness Workshop
  • Rest is Resistance is a monthly virtual Zoom workshop series that offers an affirming space for BIPOC identifying students (Black, Indigenous, People of Color–also known as Global Majority) to engage in intentional moments of rest to combat stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. This mindfulness skills-based workshop will guide you through experiential mindfulness activities to reclaim and reconnect with your body, mind, and emotions, and cultivate self-compassion.
  • Facilitated by: Cindy Villanueva, M.A. and Sara Assary, M.A.
  • Session 2: Mindfulness of Thoughts
  • This is NOT group therapy, and you do NOT have to be a CAPS client to join.
  • Open to all USF community members. If you need disability‑related accommodations or wheelchair access information, contact caps@office.usfca.edu
