Transfer Students & Internships: Finding, Landing and Making the Most of Them

Internships are one of the fastest ways for transfer students to gain experience and credibility. This workshop covers how to find internships and leverage networks, including NetworkUSF, to uncover hidden opportunities. Students also learn strategies to maximize their internship experiences, which can lead to references, future job offers, and career readiness. In addition to internships, the workshop highlights other valuable experiences that boost resumes and LinkedIn profiles, such as leadership in student clubs, assisting faculty with research, or engaging in on-campus projects. After this workshop, transfer students will know how to identify opportunities within the USF network and use both internships and related experiences to build strong career momentum.
