Tuesday, December 1 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Gleeson Library — 145 - Monihan Atrium
Join University Ministry in the Gleeson Library Atrium for its Annual Tree Lighting, a festive campus tradition featuring the Good Shepherd School first-grade choir, a tree blessing from the university chaplain, and a community sing-along. All are welcome!
Take a break from studying or work and treat yourself to cookies, hot chocolate, and apple cider. Ornaments will be available for guests to take home.
Before the lighting, USF Staff Council and GoUSF invite all faculty, staff, and librarians to bring their families to the atrium for kid-friendly crafts. Craft tables will be set up on the opposite side of the tree. After the crafting hour, families can stay for the tree lighting and caroling.
University Ministry will also collect donations for the USF Food Pantry. Toiletries and pasta with expiration dates after June 2027 are especially appreciated. Look for the collection bins at the event.
