Leif is a senior data scientist at Pinterest and holds a doctorate in Social Psychology. His work focuses on researching and implementing methods for scaling non-engagement signals in content ranking systems, with the goal of better aligning them with long-term user value. In his free time, he enjoys exploring and appreciating the many hills of San Francisco.
