Off-Campus Event - — St. Anthony’s SF
April is National Volunteer Month, and to celebrate, Staff Council invites all current staff to support our local SF community by volunteering at St. Anthony’s. Volunteers will help prepare, pack, and serve meals to guests as part of St. Anthony’s mission to "provide essential services to families and individuals in need."
This event is eligible for Community Service and Mission Engagement Time Off. Staff must submit their time-off request at least two weeks in advance in USFWorks and attach the completed agreement to the request. Volunteers are expected to arrive on time and stay the entire shift. If this is your first time volunteering with St. Anthony’s, you will be emailed a liability waiver to complete after submitting your RSVP.
Wear your USF gear and comfortable clothing suitable for an active work environment (no shorts/skirts/dresses or dresses; no shirts without sleeves), and close-toed shoes without heels. On-site lockers are limited to secure personal items, and volunteers can eat lunch from St. Anthony’s dining room with their guests (only vegetarian meal options are available).
