Notes:

  • * The tuition estimate is based on required 24 units during Fall & Spring terms. The cost per unit is $1,695. The program may require additional units in other terms, including Summer 2025 and Summer 2026.
  • Fees include:
    • $40 AGSUSF fee is applied each fall and spring semester for a total annual fee of $80. This fee funds activities and events of the Associated Graduate Students.
  • Housing and meal costs are estimates based on the average full-time graduate student. See all housing and meal costs.
  • Tuition, fees, housing, and meal plan costs are subject to annual increases. While the exact percentage may vary, these costs have historically increased slightly each year, with past annual increases ranging from 2.8% to 4.9%.
  • Graduate students enrolled in 6 or more units will see a $4,100 charge for the USF-sponsored health insurance plan reflected on their billing statement. This charge is automatically applied but may be waived if the student meets the criteria for a health insurance waiver. Students who have successfully submitted a waiver indicating they are covered under another qualifying plan will not be responsible for this charge, and it will be removed from their account as a negative debit.

As required by law, USF determines and publishes Cost of Attendance in compliance with Section 472 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (20 U.S.C. § 1087ll).
