The sixth annual university of san francisco women of color leadership conference. Saturday, march 29, 2025

The Cultural Centers and the Office of Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) are excited to present the sixth annual University of San Francisco Women of Color Leadership Conference. Our conference’s purpose is to engage members of the University of San Francisco and the greater San Francisco Bay Area community in centering the experiences of women of color.

At this year’s conference we invite proposals from USF students, staff, faculty, and alumni centered in women’s leadership and empowerment in a time where our future grows clouded and uncertain. We seek prospective facilitators who will uplift what it means to find community through hardship, to resist and fight back against oppression, and who can dream of alternative futures to guide us in finding collective freedom. 2025 will be an inflection point for our community, and it is our hope that our conference will continue to inspire women of color across generations to learn and grow with one another. This year’s sessions include:

  • Reclaiming Sacred Circulos Within and Outside of Academia to Build Collective Power Among Chicanas/Latinas
  • Using Zines to Explore Questions of Inclusion in Asian American Communities
  • Catered Networking Lunch
  • I See You; You See Me: Making the Invisible Jobs of Black and Global Majority Womxn Visible
  • Defining This Moment: Antiracist Parenting in Multiracial Families
  • Reclaiming Truth-Telling and Cultural Knowledges: Countering Racism and Deficit Perspectives with Community Cultural Wealth
  • United Across Borders: Women’s Role in Organizing for a Free Palestine
