Saturday, October 4 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
— Outside University Ministry, Toler Hall

St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of our university, the city of San Francisco, animals, and the environment. San Francisco is a twin city of Assisi. The feast day is celebrated on October 4. On Friday October 3rd we will celebrate with a blessing of animals from University Chaplain, Donal Godfrey, S.J.
Please bring animals you would like to have blessed on a leash, or in a carrier.
Prayer of St Francis
Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures.
You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air,
and animals on the land.
You inspired Saint Francis to call all of them his family.
May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation.
Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures and all of creation! Amen.
