We are excited to welcome Shree Bharathan, USF MS in Data Science & AI alumna, for our final Data Science Speaker Series talk of the year.
Large Language Models are transforming the way organizations operate, but creating real business value requires more than simply deploying a model. In this session, we will explore how to bridge the gap between technical innovation and meaningful impact.
We will look at practical ways LLMs can automate workflows, support decision-making, and shape new customer experiences across industries. Join us to learn strategies for ensuring that artificial intelligence solutions are not only powerful, but purposeful and aligned with real business needs.
About the Speaker:
Shree Bharathan is a Senior Data Scientist at Meta with more than eight years of experience in data science and machine learning. She currently serves as the technical lead for Large Language Model based transcript analytics and sales quality initiatives within the Monetization team.
Shree earned her Master of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco in 2020, and since then has worked in both technology and consulting, with a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
We look forward to seeing you there.
The Data Science Speaker Series will return on January 23, 2026 with a talk from Professor Nathaniel Stevens
