Catholic Sisters Week is an annual event (March 8-14) that recognizes the contribution that women religious have made to the church and society. Catholic Sisters have been leaders in education, advocacy, community organizing, and accompaniment. The University of San Francisco has been shaped, in a special way, by the Sisters of Mercy, Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This reception will honor their legacy at USF and celebrate their contribution to the Catholic social tradition.
