After some fifty years of engagement, U.S.-China relations faced unprecedented strains. What’s driving China’s foreign policy today, and what steps should the U.S. take to protect its interests while seeking areas of collaboration? Frank Lavin will unpack the key forces shaping China’s global strategy, the challenges and opportunities for the U.S., and what a path toward equilibrium – or even mutual benefit – might look like.
Speaker bio:

Bush, leading trade negotiations with China and India and overseeing global commercial policy.
