Parker Dewey Micro-Internships
USF students now have access to Parker Dewey Micro-Internships: short-term, paid, professional projects that help you build experience, explore career paths, and connect with employers
What are Micro-Internships?
Micro-Internships are paid, project-based work experiences that typically take 10–40 hours total to complete. Unlike traditional internships, they are usually deadline-driven rather than tied to a set weekly schedule, making them a flexible option for students balancing classes, work, commuting, and other commitments.
Through these opportunities, you can:
- Demonstrate your skills through real-world projects
- Explore different industries and career paths
- Build your resume and professional experience
- Grow your network with employers and professionals
- Become a stronger candidate for future internships and full-time roles
Why participate?
Micro-Internships allow you to gain meaningful experience early in your college journey while helping employers connect with emerging student talent. These projects can be especially helpful if you are looking to build experience before applying to larger internships or entry-level roles.
Getting Started
USF is currently introducing Parker Dewey to employers as a new way to engage with students. We recommend creating your account now, though it may take some time before you see opportunities with local employers.
