Presented by the Davies Forum

Questions of automation and labor replacement are deeply gendered and racialized in nature. This lecture explores the various ways that gender and AI intersect, including the politics of Siri or Alexa versus Claude and fantasies of radical life extension or space colonization as well as the embodied, material ways that AI infrastructures are impacting communities around the world. AI futures will be shaped not only by venture capital investments and data center buildout, but by active forms of resistance.
