PASJ Presents: Las Hijas de la Madre: Punk Rock and Poetry for Social Justice

Join a radical arts workshop and punk music performance featuring Las Hijas De La Madre, a self-described Queer Xicanx feminist punk band. Fronted by performance poet and award-winning author, Amalia Ortiz, Las Hijas create punk music with fun, raw energy around themes such as solidarity in social movements, border feminist voices, environmental justice, and queer and self-love.

Organized by PASJ Performance and Cultural Resistance class in collaboration with PASJ theater and music and co-sponsored by LGBTQ+ Caucus, Gender and Sexualities Studies, and the Ann Getty Institute of Art and Design.
