Cybersecurity Clinic
The University of San Francisco Cybersecurity Clinic supports local nonprofit organizations and small businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our students help protect our community against cyber attacks and help them with cyber civil defense and AI safety. Our model is based on that of similar clinics in law and medicine. We work closely with the UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity and with the Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics.
Through a generous donation from Craig Newmark Philanthropies, students gain valuable real world experience in their training to become cybersecurity professionals. The USF Cybersecurity Clinic's location offers a unique advantage - it is in the heart of Silicon Valley with access to cutting-edge technologies, while serving the diverse needs of nonprofits and small businesses operating out of San Francisco. Looking ahead, we hope to expand the Clinic's scope to serving critical infrastructure providers, extending the same rigorous, student-powered security support.
