Harney Science Center — Social Hive
Bring your broken things to the USF Innovation Hive for a FixIt Clinic hosted by the engineering freshman project class. FixIt Clinic is a global organization dedicated to encouraging and helping people develop the skills needed to repair broken things rather than throw them away. The entire USF community is invited to bring broken items (carry-in only, no oversize items) and work alongside engineering students and veteran FixIt Coaches to diagnose and fix their item. The engineering project class students have made tools to help the clinic run smoothly and are excited to help host this event.
The event is free and no experience is needed; aspiring repairers and curious observers are also most welcome.
