Background & Project Objective
USF's Mobile Learning Initiative (MLI) is a pilot program that is exploring the effectiveness of mobile technologies for teaching and learning. Four graduate programs, consisting of 90 students and 40 faculty, are participating in the initiative.
Project Objectives:
To evaluate the viability of replacing print textbooks with electronic content on iPadsDevelop the foundation for becoming a paperless campus; reduce printing costs for studentsInspire instructors to offer engaging and collaborative digital contentEnhance the student experience from enrollment to graduation and beyondPrepare students with technology skills that are used in their target professionLearn from successes and challenges of past programsExplore the development of faculty generated eBooks/Multi Touch digital booksSuccess Criteria
