Student Consent to Release Information
Once you matriculate at the University, your records at USF are protected from unauthorized release under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act. USF staff are prohibited from releasing your specific information regarding student account, financial aid, and registration records (including grades) to anyone, including your parents, unless you have submitted a “Student Consent to Release Information” form. You may submit your consent form by following the instructions listed below:
- Log on to myUSF.
- Click on the link for "Banner Self-Service (Student)".
- Click on the four squares icon.
- Select "Banner".
- Select the "Student" option from the menu.
- Select "Student Records".
- Click on the “Student Consent to Release Information” link and enter the requested information.
