Important Dates and Updates
- The 2026-2027 Academic Year housing application is live for all students as of February 1, 2026 on USFRooms.
- The 2026-2027 application is still available, but housing is limited and all students will be added to the waitlist. If you have recently applied, please contact Student Housing directly for updates and further information.
- For information about Continuing Student Room Selection, please go to our Continuing Students page.
- For information about the First Year Residency Requirement and Transfer Student Housing, please go to our First Year and Transfer page.
- For information about Graduate and Law Student Housing, please go to our Graduate and Law Students page.
- The Fall 2026 room change process is currently closed, but will reopen on USFRooms after the Fall Census Date, September 11, 2026.
- The Spring 2027 housing application will open in mid-October on USFRooms for students wishing to apply for on-campus housing for the Spring 2027 semester. More details will be sent to current and incoming students once the application is open.
- Important Fall Information:
- Transfer Housing Guarantee: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
- Fall 2026 Room Change Process Closes: Friday, July 24, 2026 (Will Reopen After Fall Census)
- First Year Move-In: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
- Continuing/Graduate Move-In: Saturday, August 22, 2026
- Fall Census Date: Friday, September 11, 2026
- Fall 2026 Room Change Process Reopens: Friday, September 11, 2026
- Winter/Intersession Housing Application Opens: October
- Spring 2027 Housing Application Opens: October
- Fall 2026 Move Out: Saturday, December 19, 2026
