Women's Self-Defense Seminar

Officers regularly offer self-defense seminars for women throughout the year on campus. Each seminar combines lectures and hands-on training. The next class will be held on:

This special seminar is designed for first-time self-defense students and will teach participants six critical techniques to address the following threat scenarios:

  • How to apply the Four-Phase Psychology to neutralize sexual predators, both strangers and non-strangers.
  • How to break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning.
  • How to avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker.
  • How to escape from underneath an attacker pinning you to the ground.
  • *Absolutely no experience is necessary to participate. Seminar is free and open to students, faculty and staff.
