In partnership with the Border Servant Corps (BSC), the Border Immersion program invites participants to step beyond headlines and slogans to engage the complexity of immigration and the borderlands. Through dialogue with first-generation immigrants, visits to local organizations, conversations with government officials, and learning about immigration law and economic realities, participants gain a spectrum of perspectives. Rooted in encounter and reflection, the experience fosters deeper understanding and equips students to engage their own communities with compassion, nuance, and a renewed commitment to the common good.
